Описание: This week’s session features music by Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Cautious Clay. Cautious Clay performs two songs off his new EP 'Table of Context'; “SIDEWINDER" and “SOMETHING FOR NOTHING" accompanied by art created by Ellen Rutt.

Josh Karpeh, known as Cautious Clay, is invigorating the indie/R&B scene. His warm vocals layered with mesmerizing melodies and rhythms have set him up for longevity. His songs tackle pure emotions in love and loss; the same fears and struggles his peers are reconciling. With his latest release, the 6-track EP, 'Table of Context' he shares "I put everything I know into this music." He's also recently revealed his ambition as an artist is to have a lasting impact, "One of my biggest goals is to make something that stands the test of time."

Ellen Rutt is a Detroit-based multi-disciplinary artist with a colorful, bold, and fresh approach to mixed-media painting. Within the last year, she has worked on creative projects for FORM Festival, The Belt, Detroit Institute of Arts Museum, Vans US Open, Murals in The Market, the House of Vans Detroit Pop-up and has shown in galleries and museums across the nation.

Vans Sidestripe Sessions Season 2 is a global series celebrating collaboration, diversity, and expression through music and art. The two-song sessions feature performances from Vans' extended family of musicians; backdropped by original art installations from emerging artists. Each session is unique in sight and sound.
