Un-opened OM604 440k kms
DIY 7mm injection pump by me ”7mm Transit @JJT 2019”
Holset hx35w with 12cm exhaust housing
First start with this setup. I did leave injection pump backplate off so I can adjust ”smokescrew” to max (too many turns of it =revs doesnt return quickly to near 1000rpm). Adjusting it so that revs do drop to idle fast. At video its maxed out, if fuel screw is turned more than that revs gonna float few secs before returning to idle. I could adjust governor screw but I dont mind doing so. This amount of smoke is enought for me.
Now this engine is ready to go into w201 chassis. Driving video of it will be coming when I have finished it. And pics about how oil return etc are made is added to that vid too.
PS. That rattling sound at idle is engine stand vibrating and ”handlebar” of it rattles kinda well too
