The members of Anna Rossinelli's band are Anna Rossinelli (vocals), Manuel Meisel (guitar) and Georg Dillier (bass). The band was formed in the autumn of 2008 and began by busking in the streets of Basel. Thanks to some very positive feedback they were soon regularly playing public and private concerts, first of all in Basel, but quickly moving on to other parts of Switzerland. In summer, 2009, the band went on tour busking around different European cities (for example Cologne, Amsterdam and Florence), where they were always very enthusiastically received by their respective audiences.
In 2010, Anna and Georg spent half a year in New York developing their music and English skills and, joined briefly by Manuel, gave a performance in Central Park. In December of the same year Anna and her band were chosen by the Swiss public to represent Switzerland in the in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, and on January the 8th, 2011, they performed to a very large audience in the Stadium Hall in Zürich on the television show, 'Swiss Award -- Die Millionen Gala'.
