I smoked several IDM units trying to solve this p1316 check engine light error code issue. The engine ran badly most of the time prior to me solving the problem. This video shows what I found which was causing the problem, and the video explains how I ultimately fixed the problem.
Important corrections to the video voice over: I said 4 injector wires. I meant 8 injector wires. Also, I said I separately run my glow plugs 6 minutes in cold weather. I meant to say I separately run my glow plugs 6 SECONDS in cold weather.
