L.Y.R is author and current British poet laureate Simon Armitage, singer-songwriter Richard Walters and multi-instrumentalist & producer Patrick Pearson. For their new album, Dark Sky Reservation, the band explore how nature can shield and sustain us in a hectic, disconnected world 🍃

Besides inspiring musicians and artists, time spent among trees can reduce anxiety and depression, and even speed up recovery from injury 💚

At the Woodland Trust, we're all about celebrating people's connections to woods and trees, so we teamed up with L.Y.R to put on a live music session in a patch of temperate rainforest in Dartmoor.
