Phil Doyle is a Mancini Fellow, Teaching Assistant, and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Miami Frost School, former Lecturer of Saxophone (and Interim Director of Jazz Studies) at Eastern Washington University and a P. Mauriat Sponsored Artist. Phil has had the pleasure of performing with Maria Schneider, Mike Stern, David Liebman, James Moody, KC and the Sunshine Band, Gloria Estefan, James Newton Howard, Barry Manilow and many other artists and has played the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Reykjavik Jazz Festival and will be performing at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September. Phil has been an adjudicator at several jazz festivals and has been a clinician at Ball State University, the New World School of the Arts and others.
