Описание: We're back with another album video - this time we're delving into the 1980s, which was an era that had a ton of different things going on in the music scene.

The decade kicked off with the debut of MTV, which completely redefined musical pop culture. Suddenly music was a visual experience just as much as it was an auditory one. Artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Prince dominated both the airwaves and TV screens, using music videos as powerful tools to enhance their image and tell stories. The concept of the "pop star" evolved, blending fashion, dance, and bold visuals with chart-topping hits.

Meanwhile, rock music branched into a wide range of styles. Classic rock acts like Bruce Springsteen and U2 gained momentum with emotionally charged anthems, while glam metal surged with bands like Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, and Poison bringing big hair and bigger guitar solos. Punk also evolved into new wave and post-punk, producing influential bands such as The Cure, Talking Heads, and Depeche Mode. Synthesizers became a staple of the decade, with electronic music influencing everything from dance tracks to experimental soundscapes.

Hip hop made its mainstream debut in the '80s, moving from the Bronx block parties to national attention. Acts like Run-DMC, LL Cool J, and the Beastie Boys brought rap to the masses, while Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy used it as a platform for storytelling and social commentary. The genre’s emergence marked the beginning of a seismic shift in popular music that would grow even more powerful in the following decades.

So the video is pretty self-explanatory - you'll see an album cover that has had the text removed (if there was text in the first place) and you'll have seven seconds to name the band and the artist. But we're not pigeonholed into one genre here, so don't be shocked if you see some that are completely outside your wheelhouse.

Now, for the record do note that we ARE working on some future videos that are a little more genre-specific rather than era-specific. But we have to get that in with our regular workloads and some of this stuff does take time and I do have a day job, yo. So what I'm trying to say is "Shut up, metalheads! I'm working on it."
