Описание: Published in 1995 by Ubi Soft Entertainment Software, Payuta and the Ice God (aka Payuta et le Dieu des Tempêtes) was an above-average interactive fiction with graphics title in its time. A beautiful made interactive storybook from 1995 for Windows 3.1 systems.

Payuta and the Ice God is the interactive story of a young boy’s journey across the ocean, the land and the air to rescue his sister from the evil clutches of the Ice God- Kiagnyk. The story is set in the Arctic region and taken from an Inuit legend.

The Ice God keeps the Inuit in unrelenting winter. He kidnaps Payuta's sister, Opiak, and takes her away to cook for him. Opiak makes brave attempts to resist the Ice God, while Payuta fights against all odds to search for her. In a true legendary style, he is all set for an impossible task by the Ice God. With the help from arctic animal life, Payuta retrieves an ice star from the top of a mountain and spring returns to the land. He then releases his sister and good triumphs over evil.

The story features a wonderful cast of characters, a professional voiceover and beautiful environments in addition to mini games. Payuta and the Ice God will keep the kids entertained for a long time to come.
