Something is very wrong at Lake Wyangan! Dying Fish! Receding water levels!

Описание: Today we took a drive to visit Lake Wyangan to feed the animals but we were shocked by the condition of the lake!
The water level is extremely low compared to previous years due to water being sold, mismanagement and neglect. Hundreds of dead fish line the shores, from tiny bream, yellow belly, even huge Murray Cod. It was such a devastating sight!
Once a thriving local hotspot , attracting tourists, campers, fishing enthusiasts and their families. Now has become a toxic wasteland.
Gone are the days when families could come and enjoy a picnic or a BBQ, have a swim in the lake, or go out in the boat for a fish or a ski. I fear our children will never get to share the same experiences that we all hold so dear in our memories from our own childhoods.
The lake has been dying for years and it seems nothing is being done! From the loss of water to the ongoing blue green algae contamination and the fears of its possible links to Motor Neuron Disease, what will be next for our poor lake.
