In this video I paint the robes and cloaks of the Reaper Bones Greybeards. I focus on miniature painting for beginners and hope to inspire new people into the hobby. I don't go into detail about any techniques but instead show and explain where and when I use certain methods and why. I enjoy learning and looking back on my old miniature paints and seeing the improvements I have made. Here I focus on layering the highlights on the robes and cloaks. There a common thing that you find on many miniatures and in this video I show you one of my favourite approaches to them. I paint the green and yellow wizards today, painting yellow being a challenge, it was the one I saved till last.
This channel is dedicated to miniature painting tutorials for beginners. I still have so much to learn about painting miniatures. There are so many techniques, such as wet blending, glazes and layering just to name a few. I hope for anyone new to the hobby to be able to learn alongside me. This channel should give you an insight into the way that I paint and serve as a way to document my progression in the hobby.
