On the return leg of a New Mexico and Arizona State Centennial special tour, UP FEF 4-8-4 844 had enough time to revisit Southern California for the first time in many years. Union Pacific Heritage Unit SD70ACE 1996 (Southern Pacific) was also on the train. This was my first time catching these 2 locomotives in action.
The video you are about to watch is a grab shot I took of the train at the Lenwood Road Grade Crossing on the outskirts of Barstow. I have other shots of this train but have not decided what to do with them nearly a year later. So, here is this quick grab shot for now. Thanks for watching.
