Описание: Come ride along in a peaceful afternoon drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. This stretch is known as the "commuter" stretch of the iconic roadway. The older bridge along the Parkway needed to be replaced with the widening of I-26. This construction has been ongoing for several years and is finally complete other than a little bit of cleanup work. The old bridge was taken down at night and I-26 was closed during this process. You can see a new roadway alignment to the new bridge and vegetation replanting along the newly graded banks on each side of the bridge. The design was flowing with the original roadway, making it unrecognizable in the years to come that a change even happened.
