Описание: বিমান বাহিনী যাদুঘর ঢাকার আগারগাঁওয়ে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশের প্রথম বিমান জাদুঘর। বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনীর গৌরবময় ঐতিহ্যের ইতিহাস, সাফল্য ও উন্নয়নের ক্রমবিকাশকে সংরক্ষণ এবং নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে তুলে ধরার প্রয়াসে এই জাদুঘর ২০১৪ সালে উন্মু্ক্ত করা হয়।

অবস্থান
এই জাদুঘরের পশ্চিমে রয়েছে বেগম রোকেয়া সরণি ও কম্পিউটার সিটি (আইডিবি ভবন) এবং পূর্বে রয়েছে তেঁজগাও বিমান বন্দরের সুবিশাল রানওয়ে ও বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী ঘাঁটি বাশার। উত্তর দিকে রয়েছে সুদৃশ্য হ্রদ এবং দক্ষিণে সবুজ বৃক্ষসারি ও বনানী।

পটভূমি
১৭ জুন ১৯৮৭ সালে প্রাথমিকভাবে বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী জাদুঘরের গোড়া পত্তন হয়। পরবর্তীতে ২০১৪ সালে বেগম রোকেয়া সরণি সংলগ্ন তেঁজগাও বিমান বন্দরের রানওয়ের পশ্চিম পার্শ্বে মনোরম পরিবেশে আরও সুবিন্যস্ত ও সুগঠিতভাবে পূণর্গঠন করা হয় এবং জনসাধারণের জন্য উন্মুক্ত করে দেয়া হয়। ২০১৪ সালের ২৮ সেপ্টেম্বর এই বিমান জাদুঘরটি উদ্বোধন করেন এয়ার মার্শাল এনামুল বারী।
