http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN - Water was definitely a theme throughout all the fashion weeks this Spring/Summer 2013 season but nowhere was it more evident then at the Alberta Ferretti show during Milan Fashion Week. Ferretti, always known for her fluid and feminine silhouettes, made it seem as if this motif was made for her, in its ethereal essence. That's the thing about Ferretti--even when she wants to emote the depth of water, she still wants to keep it light. The water theme focused on sea creatures and sea foam, layering pieces over one another but also adding texture like fringe and beading. The textures, which includes embroidery and lace, felt like barnacles, sea coral, and other types of foliage planted onto a dress. And of course, the evening gowns were mermaid!
