Strawberry Tarts 🍓

Описание:
Makes: 4 tartlets
Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 pinch salt
½ cup unsalted butter, cold & cubed
3 Tbsp ice water
1 cup whipping cream
4 medium to large strawberries, hulled
Strawberry glaze or jelly, to garnish
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl stir together the flour, sugar & salt until combined.
2. Add the butter and work into the flour until a pea sized crumb mixture is formed. Add the water and work into the mixture until a dough comes together.
3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. Using a pastry cutter, carefully slice dough into four 4-inch round circles to fit 3.5-inch round tartlet pans.
4. Transfer dough rounds to the tartlet pans, shape into a crust & trim excess dough. Poke the bottom & sides with a fork to allow steam to release.
5. Bake until puffed & golden, about 15 minutes. Let cool completely before assembling.
6. Whisk the whipping cream to stiff peaks & refrigerate until ready to assemble.
7. When ready to assemble, pipe whipped cream into the center of each tartlet shell.
8. Top with a fresh strawberry in the center & spoonful of strawberry glaze. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
