In fact, it’s leading to rapid improvements in medical diagnosis, autonomous vehicles and materials science.
In the industry the technique is being used for radiography to detect lesions from X Ray scans but conversely it’s being used to identify corrosion and surface defects in machinery and equipment.
This video is a bit of a teaser and shows how it can be leveraged in real time to detect different body parts with a pre-trained model from Tensorflow.JS…all in sub 30 minutes. By the end you’ll have a fully operational application built with React.JS that allows you to segment body parts in real time using your webcam!
