1. The sky without pillars
Surah Ar-Ra‘d (13:2)
اللّٰهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا
Meaning:
Allah is the One who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see.
2. Sky as a protected roof
Surah Al-Anbiya (21:32)
وَجَعَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًا
Meaning:
And We made the sky a protected ceiling, yet they turn away from its signs.
3. Rain sent from the sky
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:22)
وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً
Meaning:
And He sent down rain from the sky and brought forth fruits as provision for you.
4. Sky and earth created with purpose
Surah Sad (38:27)
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا
Meaning:
We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain.
5. Seven heavens
Surah Al-Mulk (67:3)
الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا
Meaning:
He created seven layered heavens; you do not see any flaw in the creation of the Most Merciful.
6. Sky will be changed on the Day of Judgment
Surah Ibrahim (14:48)
يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ
Meaning:
On the Day when the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens as well.
