Capturing more of this new Guitar-Cittern amongst the natural reverb in a yoga hall in Whanganui, New Zealand.
This is a 10-Stringed guitar in 5 courses tuned D-G-D-A-D with Nylon bass strings inspired by the Nordic Cittern or Nordic Mandola.

The tune is called “Kererū Swooping” and is inspired by watching Kererū birds (Native wood pigeons in New Zealand) who often fly in a swooping style and attempt to sort of ‘stand’ upright in the air, wings held out. I wanted to have that feeling of doing those partial loop-de-loops while playing this tune.
