Most tourists go to Pilatus for the views, of course! Because at 2128 m/6981 ft, you can see nearly all of the peaks soaring over Lake Lucerne!

MT. PILATUS HIKE SUGGESTIONS
–The Dragon Trail winds through rocks and caves, where apparently dragons once lived.
–The Flower Trail is an easy gravel path with — you guessed it — rainbows of flowers!

MT. PILATUS WEATHER
By the way, Pilatus is known for often being covered in clouds, which does feel very dragon-like and mysterious, but it’s not so good for sightseeing. Our best advice is to come up here first thing in the morning for the best chance of clear skies!
