Three Omicron cases confirmed in Queensland

Описание: Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerrard says there are likely to be more cases of Omicron arising in the state, after three have been confirmed.

"The minister mentioned that we have identified three Omicron strains overnight – one in the Townsville patient mentioned yesterday, one in the South Brisbane patient and another flight attendant, who was identified in hotel quarantine," Dr Gerrard said during a media conference on Thursday.

"And I can tell you that we are identifying additional cases of Omicron hour by hour so there will be more cases tomorrow."
