In this episode of our series “My first week”, Jere Gustafsson shares his first impressions as Sales Manager for fiber optic products at Rosendahl Nextrom.
Jere is responsible for international sales in defined regions, with a strong focus on telecom and fiber segments. With his background, he was looking for a high tech company with strong roots in Finland and a strong international presence.
In his very first week, he traveled to Austria to join our international sales meeting. He met colleagues from different countries, learned more about our markets, and experienced our company culture first hand. He also went through intensive training with our product managers and experts and quickly started working on real customer cases, including visits to customer sites and factory floors.
Jere describes our culture as inclusive and friendly. People take time to answer questions and support each other. And small moments, like chatting in the canteen, help new colleagues feel part of the team from the start.
