Описание: The U.S. government remains in shutdown for a third consecutive week, with Republicans and Democrats still at an impasse over a key funding bill. Today the bill failed for a 10th time to advance in the Senate, and the stalemate is having repercussions on the economy, travel, parks, museums and the payroll of federal workers. The Trump administration has now been temporarily blocked from laying off thousands of government employees by a judge who said the layoffs are politically motivated. Mark Warner, Democratic Senator from Virginia, joins the show to discuss the impact of the mass layoffs on his state and his fears of a looming healthcare crisis.
