Описание: Kera Magarill, our special guest on today's Talking Back 2 Suicide, has a Masters Degree in Human Service and has received specialized training in music therapy and dementia care. After completing a program in gerontology, she joined the Aging Leadership and Health Professions Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver as an instructor. Kera has worked in aging and arts engagement across the long-term care continuum and she led the launch of the “SPARK For Arts” program with the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado which connects families with Alzheimer’s to their local museums and arts organizations across the state. In 2018, she moved to Oregon with her family and served for seven years as an Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist. She currently serves her community as the Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Coordinator with Washington County Behavioral Health.
