🔹 USED TO
✔️ Past me jo aadat ya situation regularly hoti thi
✔️ Ab wo aadat khatam ho chuki hoti hai
Structure:
👉 Used to + V¹ (base form)
Examples:
I used to wake up early.
She used to live in Delhi.
He used to smoke a lot.
📌 Used to habit + past state (halat) dono ke liye use hota hai.
🔹 WOULD
✔️ Past ki repeated actions / habits
❌ Past state ke liye use nahi hota
Structure:
👉 Would + V¹
Examples:
When I was a child, I would play outside.
He would come late every day.
We would sit together after class.
📌 Would zyada tar story telling aur memories me use hota hai.
⚠️ Important Difference
❌ He would be fat. (Wrong)
✅ He used to be fat.
