Massive Kingdom Hearts fan reacts to Sora reveal in Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Описание: I received my copy of Kingdom Hearts when I was 7 years old. I was a massive Disney fan, so to be able to have a combat-focused game revolving around my favorite Disney characters was amazing to me. Despite playing the game religiously, I could never get to the end (mainly because I didn't understand stuff like leveling up and changing out equipment). When I was 9 years old, I had KH taken away from me due to bad behavior at work, but I always looked forward to getting it back.

That moment came when I was 11 years old. My mom and I moved in with my grandparents whose health was slowly deteriorating, and she gave the game back to me as a coping mechanism and had set Kingdom Hearts 2 aside for after I beat KH1. So I worked tirelessly to beat Ansem (still underleveled by the way), but after 3 weeks of endless attempts at the boss battle, I finally beat him at like 11:30 at night. I had to scream quietly because everyone else was asleep. I spent the rest of the night looking at the ending screen of KH1, listening to Dearly Beloved and waiting for more content.

Years later, I looked back and realized something: My grandparents were dying, yet I used a simple game to give myself some happiness in a traumatic situation. Kingdom Heats, for me, has always been a symbol of positivity and comfort in a very stressful adult life. I've been wanting Sora in Smash Bros since Brawl, and needless to say, my reaction speaks for itself.
