4. Walking on eggshells because someone can’t handle their emotions. You get trained to protect their feelings while abandoning your own.
5. Pleasing the most dysfunctional person to keep the peace. That’s not harmony. That’s emotional hostage-taking.
6. Love shown only through achievement, not affection. You grow up chasing approval instead of feeling worthy.
7. No real apologies — just food, gifts, or fake smiles. Pain doesn’t get healed. It gets covered up.
8. Being told you’re “too sensitive” or “too dramatic. ”Your emotions get shamed into silence.
9. One person carrying the emotional load for everyone. The “strong one” holds everything while slowly breaking inside.
