This one's just for fun :^)
While Sonic the Hedgehog is dashing to theaters, I figured I'd make a little rendition of the 2003 cartoon theme song with Sega Genesis sounds. This is admittedly not a PURE Genesis/Mega Drive remix though - I did sparingly use a few non-Genesis sounds from modern synths (we'll just say I did some "blast processing" to upscale the audio).
I used the "Genny" VST for Genesis/Mega Drive sounds, which is free and quite nice! I also just used FL Studio synths Sytrus and Harmor for some additional stuff underneath. And some sound effects from Sonic Adventure. I think that covers most of it... I hope you enjoy!
I'll hopefully get back to doing a real video sometime, I know it's been a while...
