#jamuary 22 featuring the first-ever jam with my friend Monika aka Monautomaton.
She was doing magic with her Korg Monologue routed through a bunch of pedals while I was crafting beats and other stuff with my Elektron Syntakt.
It was refreshing to go back to hypnotic technoland and focus on one instrument at a time. Monika went deep into the sonic intricacies of the Monologue and making the most of that 8 step sequence. I focused on just few elements, synthesizing and experimenting on the fly.
The Monologue was going through the Syntakt and the mixdown was recorded straight from the ST.
