Meet Tild, a Band 1 Route Setter from Depot Sheffield.

Tild is a Wall Assistant, Session Instructor and Route Setter, having come through our route-setting pathway; our way of providing opportunities for our staff and breaking down the historically gate-kept area of route setting.

Having discovered climbing almost 14 years ago during a children's holiday camp, Tild was instantly hooked and hasn't looked back since.
Route setting provides Tild with another way to combine her creative side (see Dyno chalk bags) with her love of climbing.

Route setting is a physical pursuit, not without its challenges, and as someone who has Type 1 Diabetes, the output required for this role can often be challenging, but Tild thrives on a challenge and enjoys balancing her diabetes with her route setting with the help of the team in Sheffield.

Depot Climbing is by climbers, for all climbers.
