We hit the junkyard in search of some rare BMW gold for the E39 project — and it did not disappoint!
In this run, we scored a few gems: an N62 throttle body with harness, clutch pedals for a future manual swap, an automatic headlight switch, a windshield rain/light prism, and even a set of E38 illuminated door handles. Sometimes the best finds are buried in the back lot — and this trip was proof.
After the hunt, we got to work restoring the E39 headlights, bringing them back from yellowed and cloudy to clear and crisp again.
