Hopefully, in this life, he will learn from his past mistakes and be the hero the world needs.

This epic high fantasy has a clever modern update for the genre. It's morally complicated without being morally bleak. And it has a lot to say about human nature. Plus we talk about the phenomenon of young authors, since Michael Miller published a whole trilogy by the age of 25!
