The weather has been very hot over the past few weeks (this coming Tuesday is going to be 43 C here, Adelaide 45 C tomorrow). This is a backup radio of someone who lives locally.
Jaycar are an electronics shop in Australia and New Zealand, but they have gone down hill severely over the past few years.
