BACKGROUND
In 2021, the Burma Army overthrew the democratically elected government leading to civil war. Thousands of civilians have been killed and millions displaced from their homes.

The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) is a relief organization working on the front lines. FBR was founded by Dave Eubank, the son of Christian missionaries and a former Special Forces and Ranger officer. FBR provides medical aid, food and shelter as well as reporting of human rights abuses. They train and coordinate with local ethnic groups to form relief teams. The teams travel through rural areas where much of the fighting takes place. There is significant risk working the front lines of the war with some laying down their lives.

FBR also ministers to children through a program called the Good Life Club (GLC). Established by Karen Eubank, the GLC brings encouragement through singing, dance, crafts and stories. The program often concludes with everyone jumping in unison along with a flag charge for unity and freedom. The Good Life Club is based on John 10:10: “For the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and have it abundantly.”
