Tina Brown began her career as a playwright and an award-winning journalist.
Before long, however, she was tapped as the youngest-ever editor of an ailing UK magazine, Tatler. After explosively growing the magazine's sales figures, she burst onto the US scene, tripling the circulation of Vanity Fair and more than
doubling that of the New Yorker. Currently, Ms. Brown hosted her own prime-time television show, Topic A With Tina Brown. Her Majesty the Queen of England awarded Ms. Brown the C.B.E.(Commander of the British Empire) in 2000 for her services to the media. She is presently editor-in-chief of Newsweek Daily Beast Company
