حينما رددتُ يا ربَّ العبادِ

وانتشَت روحي وصار الدمعُ يجري
يا إلهي خذ بقلبي للرشادِ

في سكونِ الليلِ أدعو في سجودي
والدُّجى حولي سوادٌ في سوادي

يا رؤوفًا يا رحيمًا يا حليمًا
يا كريمًا ما لفضلكَ من نفادِ

يا سريعًا يا مجيبًا يا عظيمًا
اهدني يا خالقَ السبعِ الشدادِ


اشرقت نفسي بنورٍ من فؤادي

وانتشَت روحي وصار الدمعُ يجري
يا إلهي خذ بقلبي للرشادِ

سبيلُ الدموعِ سبيلٌ مريحٌ
تنالُ الهدايا بهِ كي تستريح

وبُثَّ الدعاءَ الخفيَّ الصريحَ
يا واسعَ الفضاءِ الرحيمَ الفسيح

فبهِ كمِ استُطبَّتِ القروحُ
ويبرأُ جرحُ الكثيرِ الجريح

وانتشَت روحي وصار الدمعُ يجري
يا إلهي خذ بقلبي للرشادِ

جمالُ الوجودِ بذكرِ الإلهِ
وتصفو الحياةُ بنورِ الهدى

فؤادٌ شغوفٌ إلى ربِّهِ
أحبَّ رضاهُ وأحبَّ لقاه

إذا ما ينادي منادي الفلاح
تراهُ لذاك يُحثُّ خطاه

لا نحتاجُ المالَ كي نزدادَ جمالًا
جوهرُنا في القلبِ يسمو عاليًا

كن أنتَ تزدد جمالًا
كن أنتَ تزداد كمالًا
