Sancharaka Udawa 2024 - Eleventh edition of Mega travel and tourism event kicks off at the BMICH

Описание: The 11th edition of ‘Sancharaka Udawa’ concluded yesterday at the BMICH - Sancharaka Udawa 2024, a mega travel and tourism event, kicked off at the BMICH yesterday. The event, held over two days from 17 to 18 May, brought together Sri Lanka’s tourism industry stakeholders on to one platform.

The Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) the Apex Body representing the Inbound Tour Operator Community in Sri Lanka, will organize ‘Sancharaka Udawa 2024’ tourism products meet mart on 17th and 18th of May 2024 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Halls at BMICH. This is the 11th edition that this much looked forward to exhibition is being held.

The main objective of this event is to provide an opportunity for those less exposed, entrepreneurs in the Tourism Industry to meet with all stakeholders in mainstream tourism. The event creates a platform for all small and medium tourism service providers from the regions to exhibit their products and services and to network and build vital links with the tour operator community and the general public, thereby entering the wider spectrum of the industry. The event will bring together a wide network of personnel across the industry. It is the only gathering of this nature in Sri Lanka, since its inception in 2011. The expected benefits of this endeavor will be a substantial increase in bookings and sales to the smaller service providers situated in the regions. The fair will also consist of entertainment activities and workshops which also attract a large cross section of the general public and an informal evening gathering for the exhibitors, sponsors & Members of SLAITO to network.

The 2024 edition features over 240 stalls, and over 500 exhibitors. The event, organised by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators, creates a platform for all small and medium tourism service providers from the regions to exhibit their products and services, network, and build vital links with the tour operator community and the general public, thereby entering the wider spectrum of the industry.

The trade fair offered a platform for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C), supporting small, medium and large travel players to make their appearance.

The 11th edition of the Sancharaka Udawa Travel and Tourism EXPO is back in style and grandeur.
