Today, Monday,29th December, 2025, a football match between Eidenu men living in Eidenu, and those living outside the Community, held at Eidenu Primary School, playground, and the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, a 'son of the soil', also actively participated in the game.
The football match, was in honour of the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area, as part of the celebration of his successful one year in office.
Rt. Hon. Iyere, who played the Kick-off, played on the side of the Home Team in the first half, and later on the side of the 'Away' team in the second half.
