The Midnight War - Season 0 Episode 1: The Son of Midnight

Описание: Four adventurers who all owe a debt to a criminal, spymaster, and perfumer named Yalafir arrive at the port city of Dlakfi Klorpeim in the Leopard Isles. There, they meet the Son of Midnight or "Prince of Midnight," the secretive and enigmatic ruler of the isles whom nobody has ever met or even seen in person. He commissions them to undertake a risky act of subterfuge: stealing the magical blade of one Tengelbur Silverhand, a troublemaker, assassin, and spy currently operating in the Leopard Isles and intent on destabilizing the Prince of Midnight's regime. The party make a visit to a tavern where Tengelbur has rooms, and then to the convent of the Ram of Dawn, seeking clues as to his whereabouts. Finally, with the knowledge that the rebels have taken up their abode in catacombs deep beneath the oldest part of the city, and now in the possession of a map of said catacombs, they party prepares to head into the maze of tunnels and tombs. Before they do so, however, they stop back to see Yalafir, who has gone missing -- seized, it seems, by force -- and one of the members of the party, Sister Kjanlei, who has herself been entrusted with an additional and much more important mission by the Prince of Midnight, finds herself separated by the rest of the party and staring down an assassin's blade...
