#Bhilwara_History = The same if I talk about the interesting history of Bhilwara, then tell you that Bhilwara was not a princely state, it was a part of Phulia i.e. today's Shahpura princely state. Which was under the Sisodia dynasty of Mewar state. But time passed and by 1631, this princely state goes under the Mughals. Then Shah Jahan and Sujan Singh together established this princely state and named it Shahpura after Shahjahan. But Bhilwara was a part of the princely state of Mewar before 1948. But on 18 April 1948, under the third phase of Rajasthan Unification, when Mewar ie Udaipur State was merged with Rajasthan Union, Bhilwara was separated from Udaipur State and made a district of Rajasthan.
