EPIC LIVE!! SHINY FROAKIE FINALLY APPEARS IN POKEMON Y AFTER A HOPPING 18,844 SRs

[I certainly hope you know whose Shiny xD] At two minutes apiece, it's safe to say this was my longest hunt time-wise to date. I spent over 700 hours of my life soft-resetting for this secretive ninja. Was it worth it? Damn right it was!

Firstly, I want to thank everybody who supported me throughout this absurdly taxing hunt. Never in my five years as a Shiny Hunter have I been challenged in the way that this innocent looking frog challenged me. Froakie tested me, mind and soul, but now that everything is said and done, I can proudly announce that I prevailed over this arduous Hunt, and claimed a white Froakie of my own! ^_^

Might I say this was the perfect comeback? After being gone for so long, Willow and I wanted to find a really special Shiny for you guys to enjoy. Willow's hunting Cyndaquil in Gold again. I believe she's around 9,000 SRs. Wish her luck!

And now for a little history. I originally started hunting for Froakie in the early spring of 2014. I ended up doing about 11,600 SRs before putting the hunt on hold for the summer. As many of you know, Willow and I don't get much hunting done throughout the summer months. Upon returning to our apartment for school in September, I picked the hunt back up, even going so far as to use a completely different Y cartridge. I was starting to think the original one had some issues. But 5,000 SRs later, I still didn't have my Froakie. The hunt was once again put to the side, this time because I'd just had enough of that frog. Over the next year, I hunted Froakie casually, managing to bring the total soft reset count to 17,300. Finally, I restarted Froakie for what would be the final time on September 8, 2015. 1,544 SRs and 8 days later, my quest was finally brought to an end with the arrival of my target!
