We spent a fun and relaxing weekend camping at Klipkrans Campsite near Worcester in the Western Cape — and what a gem it turned out to be!
Just about an hour from Cape Town, this well-equipped and private campsite is the perfect quick getaway. Nestled alongside the beautiful Breede River, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery made it the ideal spot to unwind.
Of course, no Luke & See trip is complete without some good campfire cooking! 🍳🔥
This weekend we made:
🥖 Panini bread rolls toasted on the fire
🌯 Tortilla, egg & ham rolls
Simple food, cooked over the flames, always tastes better outdoors!
If you're looking for a recommended campsite close to Cape Town with privacy, great facilities, and a relaxing riverside setting — Klipkrans is definitely worth a visit.
