Welcome 2021 in style. Takai is a celebration of Welcoming the New Year after prayer week. The only Day of the Year we get to go on cars, trucks, bikes and whatever that has wheels on without WOF. This year has upgraded from lollies to more sweets, cornbeef, tuna, sardines, Tayo, taro, fish and many more. Sad that families overseas couldnt join us due to Covid but we celebrate for them and hopefully see them here for the next one. Thanks to our sponsors for making it happen for yous to watch. Credit to my Sister Dorra for helping me film and also Claudia Viliamu for allowing me to use some of her footage as we missed out on 2 main Takais.
