Bert Kaempfert - Me and You ( And A Dog Named Boo )

Описание: Bert Kaempfert recorded this tune back in 1971 (together with the songs for the album "Bert Kaempfert Now" ) but the song was never released at the time. That is...... not in Europe.... It was however released on the US market, but ...... not as a Kaempfert production ! It's a complicated story (we invite you to check the net for further details :) but the initial outcome was that the song and the respective album were credited to another bandleader/orchestra...... Fortunately, Bert Kaempfert and His Orchestra's 'honour' were restored when Polydor released the CD series "Good Life Music" many years later. The track was added as a bonus to the tracklist of "The Kaempfert Touch" and hence, finally, Kaempfert fans worldwide could enjoy this arrangement of the sixties hit "Me and You and a Dog named Boo".
Some critics have stated that "this is not the Bert Kaempfert orchestra" playing, but I think it duly IS the famous orchestra.
Hope I won't start a "heavy discussion" here on the channel - we've posted this happy tune because......we're slowly coming into a "festive mood" as we approach our 300th post :) And that'll be a special that will be loved by all easy listening music fans, .... no doubt about that !
