Speaking about his shock departure, he explained how he felt after having to quit the show: "It was very strange waking up this morning and not dancing with you. I didn't know what to do. I'm still in pain and I've been moping around the house. Three days ago we were about to dance we knew was going to be great. I don't feel like I've left yet, but I'm missing people. It feels strange."Katya added: "I just think we've been so lucky to have had the privilege to watch Nigel on the dancefloor, showing his dancing ability, talent and artistry ... It just felt right every week, we did it together. We brought his own thing to every number. Nigel always made it his own and he brought the magic to every single piece we did ...
