L'Autoroute Ferroviaire Alpine entre la France et l'Italie (Aiton -- Orbassano -- 175 km), en exploitation commerciale depuis novembre 2013, a aujourd'hui prouvé son efficacité et son fonctionnement, même par des conditions climatiques sévères. Elle transporte un nombre croissant de poids lourds et a franchi en mai 2013 le seuil de 200 000 poids lords transportés depuis son ouverture. Avec plus de 500 000 tonnes de marchandises transportées par an, elle permet une réduction des émissions de CO² de l'ordre de 5000 tonnes par an.
The Alpine Rail-Motorway between France and Italy (Aiton -- Orbassano -- 175 km), in commercial service since November 2013 has proven its efficiency and operation even in extreme weather conditions. It carries an increasing number of trucks and crossed in May 2013 the threshold of 200,000 trucks since its opening. With over 500 000 tons of goods transported per year, it allows a reduction of 5000 tons of CO ² emissions per year.
