Idle Air Control Motor System Fault
Description
IAT Sensor less than 131ºF during last key cycle, engine started, system voltage over 10v, engine running at hot idle speed, ECT Sensor over 176ºF, IAT Sensor over 14ºF, Short Term fuel trim from -8 percent to +8 percent, BARO Sensor over 76 kPa, and the PCM detected the Actual idle speed was more than 200 rpm above or 100 rpm below the Target idle speed for 10 seconds
Cause
Stepper motor Coil No 1, 2, 3 or 4 circuit open or shorted to groundStepper motor coil circuits shorted to system power B+Stepper motor is damaged or has failedPCM has failed
