BURIED DEEP!!! NO DRIVESHAFT, NO PROBLEM!!!

Описание: A partially loaded dump truck, deep in the mud, leaning toward a garage, with a broken driveshaft. Oh, and the factory hitch pin was torn out. Time to bring out the Rotator and get creative!

In this video, a new customer (formerly with a local competitor who recently retired/closed up shop) gave us a call after getting his dump truck stuck and snapping his driveshaft trying to power out. Access was tight—we had to back the Rotator in off a two-lane highway blind curve just to get to him.

Once on scene, the truck was buried halfway up the tires on the passenger side. Because of the soft ground conditions, the proximity to the garage, and underground utilities, lifting the truck was too risky. It could have twisted his frame or put the Rotator in a bad spot. Instead, training took over, and we went for a straightforward winch out.

Since his front pin was missing, we ran a chain from the passenger side frame rail, behind the axle, in front of the tie rod, and out under the bumper, using an Armor Angel to protect the synthetic line.

To make things interesting, we decided to test out our notoriously temperamental drag winch. We redirected it low off the rear outrigger to keep the line clear of his bumper. To my surprise... it worked perfectly! A smooth, uneventful recovery with zero additional damage. Sometimes, simple and safe is the best way to get the job done.
