Removing stuck driveshaft collar on Yamaha F150xb

Описание: I tried unsuccessfully using a screwdriver to work my way around the driveshaft collar, but it was not moving at all. i was putting considerable force on the screwdriver, enough that when it slipped out i cut my knuckle pretty bad on the lower unit corners. You can see that i even cracked the plastic spacer under the collar. Heres the part for replacement if it gets damaged:
