Описание: This is The Commonweal School's winning entry for Jamie Cullum's competition to win his Yamaha Piano. The school is now the proud guardian of his beloved Yamaha C7 Grand Piano. Thanks to all those who voted for our entry.

Commonweal Performing Arts Academy is a school in Old Town, Swindon, Wiltshire that serves students from age 11 – 18 years old. We are an inclusive community incorporating Physically Impaired, Special & Moderate Learning Difficulties departments.

We head up the Big Hat Network which hosts a yearly cabaret for people of all ages and learning difficulties. We also run a Piano Festival & a newly launched Singer/Songwriter Showcase for young people in the Borough of Swindon. The school is proactive in the Old Town Festival and also the Little Big Festival creating opportunities for the good of the all.

Our current piano is on its last caster, so to have Jamie’s piano would be fantastic for all in the Borough of Swindon to use and enjoy. Being the centre piece of school events and community activities, it would help us to make a difference and inspire the school and local community as a whole.

Our entry is in the form of a song written by our Performing Arts Technician, Nick Weaver and performed by many of the talented students and staff here at Commonweal.
