Like a swarm they all appear
I’m a sight they can’t ignore

I left my homeland
In answer to a plea
To be a kingdom’s hero
The one to set them free

Led by The Immortal
Pulled by his will
Following his guidance
My fate is still concealed
He guides me with foresight
Endows me with skill
I trust in his vision
A guardian taught to kill

When I strike, I liberate
From enemies intent on hate
I know no fear, I feel no pain
Strength and power
Course through my veins
The blade of justice I hold in hand
No foe of mine can dare withstand
Through endless day and longest night
I vow to help them win this fight

These aren’t my people
But their cause is just
So I’m willing to fight their fight
There are no gods above
Who’ve shown them any love
So they’ve turned to this lone knight

If I fall I come to glory
If death awaits I am not sorry
I need no assurance of when
I’ll ever go home again

Still, how I miss
Those left behind
They are never far from me

And the tears in his eyes
As his mother held him
